Finance Department

The Finance Department’s role is to analyze, record and communicate the City’s economic events.  One of the departments primary objectives is to provide information to facilitate the decision-making process as well as monitor compliance with City policies and all applicable laws.  Most department operations are mandated by federal, state and city laws along with various regulatory agencies; while simultaneously adhering to the established accounting and financial reporting standards as set by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The purpose of this proposal is to solicit bids from qualified newspapers to serve as the City of Poulsbo’s official newspaper for a five-year term. Please find the Invitation to Bid Packet linked below. The submission deadline is 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2026 PST. Bids may be submitted in written form either via mail to City of Poulsbo, Finance Department, Official Newspaper Bid, 200 NE Moe St, Poulsbo, WA 98370, or hand-delivered to Poulsbo City Hall (3rd Floor) in a sealed envelope – bids submitted via email should be sent to:  lcampbell@poulsbo.gov. Bids must be stamped received (not postmarked) by the City of Poulsbo no later than 3:00 pm PST on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
